South Fraser Perimeter Road

KWH erected a total of 5 precast bridges for the new South Fraser Perimeter Road (HWY 17) project. The McAdam Creek, Collings Creek, and Norum Creek were precast girders bridges, while Nelsonview Creek and Gunderson Creek were precast box girder bridges. The long span bridges were erected using two 500-Ton capacity hydraulic cranes in tandem with girder weights up to 100 Tons and 157 feet long. Temporary bracing and stability checks for the girders were provided by Somerset Engineering.
