This popular 26-story downtown Seattle hotel is topped off with a 50-foot-high steel & glass pyramid that lights up the skyline at night. Somerset provided workable connection designs to facilitate erection. KWH erected this difficult structure using the building tower crane, utilizing maximum pre-assembly and a system of temporary struts and stays. The building canopies and stairs for the entire hotel were also installed by KWH.
