Location: Vancouver, BC Contract Value:

At Richardson International Terminal (JRI), in the Port of Vancouver, KWH replaced 2-foot to 7-foot diameter head pulleys from 2 vertical conveyors. The access was through the grain elevator shaft at an elevation of 240 feet from grade. Our 200 Ton crawler equipped with 180 feet of main boom and used 140 feet of luffing jib to lift the old and new replacement pulleys. The existing site and conveyors made the crane access very difficult and all assembly and operations of the crane were meticulously laid out by our engineering department. All the site work was carried out very efficiently so the busy grain terminal experienced minimum interruption.
